The Apocrypha of Azazel is more fantasy than religion, but archetypes from both worlds are evident here, as the fallen angel that is Azazel attempts to set the record straight on a variety of issues – some of which certain religious groups may find heretical, since Azazel’s version of certain well-known tales may be vastly different than what you are familiar with.
This is especially true regarding Azazel’s shocking assertions….
- about the identify of the true architect of Creation;
- concerning his claims about the real story behind dawn of man;
- that numerous gods we hold sacred today (including “Yahway”) were simply alter ego’s of Azazel himself created merely to further his own designs).
In addition, this work touches upon numerous adult themes (violence, sexuality, chemical dependence, and more) and it has a suggested parental guidance rating of PG-13
Because of the highly controversial nature of Azazel’s claims, and the sometimes unsavory adult content (that is unfortunately required in order to tell the tale in full), it’s important to understand that the publisher (Helpful Dad Industries) is merely the vehicle providing access to a report on these events.
The publisher can’t guarantee the accuracy of Azazel’s so-called ‘truths,’ nor does the publication of this apocrypha necessarily mean that the publisher believes in Azazel’s “gospel.”
That being said, the publisher will admit that w’ve been fascinated by this tale for decades now and w’ere excited to be able to finally share it with you.
So let’s not haggle over whether it’s fact or fiction, instead let’s just enjoy it for what it is intended to be: an epic work of high fantasy that offers you the chance to immerse yourself in a many-layered world where there is always something new to discover.
If you approach these books with that mindset, then if nothing else, you’ll at least be entertained — and that’s our goal in sharing this tale with you. Enjoy!
