Book V – The Daggers of Destiny – The Apocrypha of Azazel

Book V of The Apocrypha of Azazel starts a new trilogy called The Daggers of Destiny. The first book is called The Resurrection of The Grim. It begins the tale of my quest to find the magical daggers known as Dagaal and The Grim. I knew if I could possess them both, I could break The Firmament and make myself The God of All!

Dagaal – the Bone Dagger – was created by Lucifer when the Lord of the Underworld stole it from my anatomy. My dark master had been terrorizing me with it ever since – threatening to destroy me with Dagaal if I did not help him escape from the prison world he created for himself. I needed to recover Dagaal to escape from Lucifer’s slavery.

As for the Grim. It was the secret partner to The Ghast – a magical battle axe I’d lost to Lucifer shortly after I’d acquired the blade for myself. I never knew about The Grim until it was lost to the history. I’d searched for the Grim for centuries, yet by a strange twist of fate, the weapon ended up in the hands of Emcorae Azop – a piss-ant human boy from the backwater town of Monthaven. Emcorae had no idea he possessed such a magical blade and was instead focused on his own problems – seeking revenge for a lost love. Emcorae was aided in his quest by the Amorosi warrior Nathily and the Drokka prince Barkla and thus was form the (in)famous Trio whose exploits comprise much of the storyline in the trilogy – to my great horror.
