Echoes of Tartaria – A Novel

What if the great achievements of the Industrial Age were not inventions at all, but a reclamation?

In a world fueled by coal and gaslight, where the new titans of industry are building empires on steel and smoke, Nikolai, a reclusive engineer in the heart of St. Petersburg, Russia holds a dangerous secret. He is the last in a long line of keepers of a forbidden history—the forgotten legacy of Tartaria, a magnificent, globe-spanning civilization of aetheric energy and sublime architecture, buried by a cataclysmic event a century ago.

The history books claim the “Great Reset” of the early 1800s was a series of political wars and natural disasters. But Nikolai knows the truth, passed down in a single, ancient journal: it was a deliberate act, a war waged by the ancestors of the very men who now control the world’s wealth. Their goal was simple: to dismantle a system of free, limitless energy and replace it with one that could be bought, sold, and controlled.

Now, with a small, humming relic of the old world in his hands, Nikolai embarks on a desperate mission. He must find the remaining fragments of a lost technology before the shadowy forces behind the new regime—led by the likes of J.P. Morgan and the oil-rich Rockefellers—can finish their work of historical erasure.

From the muddy, subterranean tunnels of St. Petersburg to the grand, but false, facades of America’s World’s Fairs, Nikolai’s quest will force him to confront the ghost of his ancestors’ betrayal and an agonizing choice: restore the world to its former glory at the cost of its freedom, or forge a new path built on a truth that has been buried for over a century.

The past is not dead. It is waiting to be rediscovered.
